You Remember?

This is near the END of the Futurama film Bender's Big Score... WE THE AUDIENCE NEED SOME EMOTIONAL CLOSURE!

Leela's still bummed 'cause Lars left her... Fry tries to comfort her by subtly _{(sorta )} hitting on her... didn't work. She's still sad and they have a brief little dialogue exchange here.

[Leela is crying]

Fry: What is it?

Leela: Nothing...

Fry: I-it's supposed to be a celebration, Leela. I mean... come on! Wimmy-wam-wam-wazzle!

Leela: I can't help it... I was gonna be married. I was so happy...

Fry: Well, maybe you'll find someone else someday.

Leela: No... you don't understand... Lars is the only man I'll ever love... I know it in my heart.

Fry: [Looks down sadly. He turns back to Leela and forces a smile] You remember when we first met?

Leela: Mmm-hmm. It was right there in the cryogenic lab... Eight years ago today.

Fry: Meet me there in five minutes... It's important.

Ohh... that line when she TOTALLY shot him down... so oblivious to his subtle-yet-not-subtle hint... I couldn't help but think "Ouch" after that "Only man I'll ever love" line...

I love the music during this scene toooo... The piece of score that's played during this scene is played quite a bit throughout the movie, and it's played three times in Into The Wild Green Yonder.
... and... I just love it...
