You Bring Out The Best In Me

*sighs wistfully*
Just really felt like drawing some TonyxPepper fluff...
JUST LOOK AT THESE TWO, OH GOSH!!


There was this moment in Iron Man 3 (re-watched it recently along with the other Iron Man movies because of the Age Of Ultron trailer ) where... Tony decides to remove the arch reactor from his chest; he doesn't need it any more! He's free!

So now, while still being a hero, he's fully devoted to Pepper and just... she really does bring out the best in him; his reason for growing so much and for caring AT ALL is her

And yeah, a lot of people were upset he doesn't have the chest piece any more 'cause it means he's no longer Iron Man... but I see it as this... if there's anything the movies have proven, it's that that thing in his chest was what was both helping him AND hindering him... it was a crutch, and since The Avengers he didn't need it; he clearly had the means to have it and the shrapnel removed, but because of his lingering fear of losing Pepper to any danger, he hid under his suits...
NOW... he'll still be able to protect her, and still be able to make suits... heck, they'll be improved 'cause they won't run on the thing keeping him alive!
This just means that he won't be afraid; he'll confront troubles when they happen, not worry himself into anxiety attacks before they happen, if ever at all!

I was squealing and wriggling in my seat while making this; I'm such a dweeb!  
I am... VERY happy with how this came out!
I did MUCH better one Pepper this time around. Tony's beard took forever, and I don't know why
I'm not used to working with a blue kind of colour palette... so it's a nice little challenge for me
And lo, another moment in making a pic where I TOTALLY spaced out! This time it was when doing the background... so many liiiights...
