The Paw Patrol

Ok, don't freak out, don't freak out
This is an idea I've had for a few years now
Every kid I hang out with, all my nieces and nephews have gone bananas for this show, Paw Patrol... and y'know what? It's a cute show
It's gender neutral, it's funny, it has some subtle lessons, but really is just about team work and using the skills you have to help others
Well... I watch a lot of Crime Dramas; I'm a sucker for the genre despite its many clichés... to be fair though, EVERY genre has its clichés
And I couldn't help but imagine what it'd be like for these pups if they... well, got older and took part in some crime drama-esque type stuff...

Oh I have a plot idea already, but, I won't say it here; maybe I'll make a journal
Here's the run-down on who's who in this picture:

Chase: The German Shepherd Police Dog. He's kinda the leader of the bunch (and fan favourite among most kids ) Well, as he got older, due to a tragedy involving Ryker _{(I'll get into that later )} he becomes the typical obsessed cop... He never has time for himself, he suffers from night terrors and doesn't really see much of his old friends anymore because of some self-loathing issues; that all gets resolved and everything but yeah; he's the broken obsessed cop... He still has feelings for Skye, but because of all the stuff going on with him, he doesn't think he'd be good enough for her.

Marshall: The Dalmatian Fire Dog. As a pup he was goofy but had a big warm heart... as an adult, he carries a lot of that goodness in him still; he's more mature and not as clumsy, but still has a warm personality. He has pups of his own and doesn't want any of them to want to be fire dogs; he loves his job, but wouldn't want anyone he cares about seeing the stuff he sees... sometimes you can't save everyone, as they've all had to learn the hard way in the past.

Skye: The Cocker Spaniel Pilot Dog... ok, that's weird; I will admit, drawing her was the HARDEST... also, implementing a (sort of) adult idea to her was also tough... I imagine that, she takes flight for conventional reasons; not really a job thing anymore (although that would change) She more-so works as a comfort dog for people who've undergone some sort of emotional trauma and is there for therapy's sake... she's always been the emotional support of the group and can't help but still feel that drive to help people with their issues... She still harbors feelings for Chase and wishes she could do more to help him.
_{(PS I know she's apparently supposed to be a Cockapoo, but SHE LOOKS NOTHING LIKE A COCKAPOO! I MODELED HER AFTER A COCKER SPANIEL AND SPRINGER SPANIEL, SO NYAH! lol)}

Rocky: The Mix-Breed Recycle Dog. Rocky has always been the resourceful type. He carries out his duties as a recycling worker, but it gets harder and harder to maintain over time. And his fear of water has now evolved into full-on hydrophobia due to a tragic experience with the rest of the team... He holds some kind of heavy criticism against Chase in particular (but that gets resolved ) but at the same time, he wishes that they could go back to the way things were; he's the more nostalgic of the bunch.

Zuma: The Chocolate Labrador Scuba Dog. Now working as an underwater-excavator, he cleans up rivers, ponds, helps the police locate stuff that may have been chucked away in water, etc, etc... He still gets together with Skye and Rubble when their schedules line up... He fears booming thunder and even loud construction equipment now, but is the more psychological of the bunch; he can almost immediately tell what's on someone's mind.

Rubble: The Bulldog Construction Dog. He works in construction and gets together with others for visits when he can. He keeps his tough exterior, soft interior persona and is very loving to the rest of the group. He recently developed breathing issues and refuses to go to a vet... fearing he'd get news not only that would mean he couldn't do his work or help anyone... but that he may not have a whole lot of time left.

Overall, I had fun with this
I kind of imagine something between Ladder 49, Patriot's Day, Criminal Minds and C.S.I
JUST THROW ALL THAT IN A BLENDER WITH SOME DOGGIES AND BOOM!
