No One Likes A Bully

Especially not Amaterasu!


This is a pic I drew up at camp that I FINALLY got to finish!
Being surrounded by nature, I couldn't help but think of Amaterasu from Okami... and, during a gloomy day and listening to some awesome musics... I thought up my own scenario:

See.... the thing with silent characters in video games, for me, it gives me reason to broaden their personality; Ammy is very protective, kind, gentle, friendly ... but when approached by evil, she can be very fierce! 
And, she REALLY dislikes anyone or anything causing harm to people; be it physical, emotional or whatever... even if someone is being bullied, it sends a fire through her and she is overwhelmed with this need to step in and protect someone.
Here, I dunno exactly what's going on... but SOMEONE is bullying someone else; denouncing their beliefs and almost reducing them to tears... THIS does NOT sit well with Ammy!

But the thing is... if it's human, she cannot bring herself to cause physical harm to them, even if they do something horrible... it's who she is to protect them... But, she can't be idle either.

I just wanted to capture that moment when that fire is ignited within her; that moment when she sees what's happening and is ready to step in and help!


I've said it before and I'll say it again...
DO NOT MESS WITH AMMY!

Anyways, this was oodles of fun to make...
