Ahahahaaaaa... I'm so happy with this and yet I FEEL SO BAD FOR MAKING IT!
Whew... yeah, this is an animalized version of the fight in the forest from Logan...

He knows he's fighting a losing battle; he knows he's not gonna make it out in one piece... but heck, if he can stall this monster just a little longer so the kids can get away, so be it
It was honestly very hard for me making Logan look pained, but also... X-24-- he's a clone... but I didn't want him to be the exact same colours, otherwise it'd be impossible to tell them apart... So, not only is Logan more dingy/grey looking... X-24 is slightly darker than the pallett I used for Logan even when he was younger/healthier

And that background-- holy NUT-CAKES that took forever and a day... I'm not sure what happened!
I did a few trees, then I did the leaves and the mountain and blurred and midtone/shaded and highlighted parts and just... one of those instances where I literally spaced out and was lost in whatever music I was listening to and then the background just... happened
Funny, how when I don't plan the background, it looks better than when I plan it

Oh gosh, i'm so sorry for not commenting in a long time, but oh my gosh, i'm so happy that you put this up here! I remember seeing the WIP and it looks absolutely fantastic now that it's finished! 
I actually started tearing up a bit, because despite it being animalized, you captured the essence of the scene, from the emotion on their faces to the background, and gosh I really need to watch the movie again so I can cry my heart out!
