Father And Daughter

But seriously, PLEASE don't be mad at me lol
I still have plenty of ideas and drawings and things... Les Mis just happens to be in that mad-fan-art-bracket

This was something I had coming for a LONG time but kept pushing back because the weather's been too gloomy and this is supposed to be happy


Art Wise: This was actually hard to draw for me... mainly because of THAT BRAID! Ok, people... I cannot even MAKE a braid in real life, let alone DRAW IT! So, I don't even know if this looks right... Also the shot I referenced was really dark, so it was hard for me to make things out; then again, it could be that my screen is dark lol
But I gotta say, THIS WAS SOOO MUCH FUN TO COLOUR!! I really did my best this time to recapture that warm, golden look... Also, I was trying to use darker colours to help emphasizes the lighter colours... I kinda spaced out when I shaded so... I don't even know what happened, it just kind of... happened

Content Wise: IT'S VALJEAN AND COSETTE AGAIN! REALLY, NEED I SAY MORE?!

Oh, of course I do; not everyone looking at this will be someone who knows my psychotic adoration for this story or these characters _{(though many WILL, but, whatever )}
I've drawn a TON of fan art surrounding the father daughter relationship between Valjean and Cosette... but... I haven't done any when Cosette is older; I'm a sucker for the schmaltzy stuff when she's little, but that tenderness and love is still evident once Cosette has grown up a bit. In fact, it's more crystallized and focused and... They are so over-protective of each other; it's so frigging adorable!

For the past 8 years, their source of love and happiness was each other... so, needless to say, they're pretty tight lol

All in all... I'm pretty happy with this
